With everyone from Rihanna to Marina Abramović booking her to play their parties, Kitty Ca$h is one of the industry’s most in-demand DJs. But she’s also reimagining dance music while she’s at it. Wanting to create something entirely her own, she turned her hand to producing and in 2024 released her debut EP, Handle With Care, a bold and energetic project featuring a holy trinity of George Riley, Kilo Kish, and Rico Nasty.
Aiming higher than simply great beats, Kitty created a space for joy and healing to coexist on the dancefloor with her EP. To celebrate its release, she created an accompanying art installation at Hannah Trao Gallery in NY, featuring an original ambient score to guide visitors through the space.
Looking ahead, she’s now planning to push beyond sound in her live shows, incorporating visual elements to create something fully immersive. Transformative nights out with Kitty Ca$h can’t come soon enough.
